Rules by Cynthia Lord

One of my favorite books by Cynthia Lord. I did a book report on it. It's about a twelve year old named Catherine whose brother has a disability. She meets a boy named Jason at the clinic while her brother is in Occupational Therapy. Jason can't talk and he's in a wheel chair, so he has a book in front of him with words that he can just tap to tell others what he wants/feels. A new girl Catherine's age named Kristi causes Catherine to act out of character. Kristi likes a kid who bullies Catherine's brother David, but Kristi was never there to see David being bullied.

It's a really good book, but I'm not good at summarizing. xD

It used to be one of my favorite books, although now I like other books.
